We're looking for a Senior Chemist to join our R&D team and contribute to the development of new chemical processes from concept to scale-up.
The role will focus on extraction, purification, process optimization, and lab-scale process development. We're seeking someone who enjoys hands-on experimentation, data-driven problem solving, and translating ideas into practical processes.
Qualifications
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant industrial R&D experience
Key responsibilities
• Design and execute laboratory-scale R&D experiments
• Develop and optimize extraction, purification, and separation processes
• Evaluate process performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Generate reliable experimental data and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Collaborate with the engineering team during pilot and scale-up activities
• Support technology development from concept through proof-of-scale
What we're looking for
• Hands-on experience with extraction and separation processes
• Experience designing and executing laboratory-scale experiments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with process development and optimization
• Ability to maintain clear documentation and communicate technical findings
This role will work closely with the engineering team to support scale-up and commercialization activities. We're particularly interested in individuals who enjoy tackling difficult technical challenges, working with a high degree of autonomy, and contributing directly to the development of new technologies.
